Chinese Medicine
Treatments
Initial
Consultation: A detail history of the
patient’s ailment will be taken in order to set a
treatment plan best suited to the patient. Acupuncture
treatment will be given as well as Diet and Lifestyle
advice to help with the healing
process.
Acupuncture: The
use of fine disposable needles will stimulate specific
points on the body in order to help the body restore its
natural balanced state.
Tui
Na: a deep tissue massage using different
manipulations to stimulate the body energy
flow.
Chinese Food
Cures: what works for one person may not for
the next. Chinese food cures will help identify diet
needs for each individual.
Cupping: refers to an
ancient Chinese practice in which a cup is applied to the
skin so that the skin and superficial muscle layer is
drawn into and held in the cup. In some cases, the cup
may be moved while the suction of skin is active, causing
a regional pulling of the skin and muscle. The treatment
gives the tissue a deep, quick massage. It
breaks down adhesions and thus helps in
blood circulation. Cupping can benefit any
painful congested area, bronchitis, swellings, arthritis,
low backache, sprains, shoulder tension and more.
